Joy Bags

I love Christmas, but it can cause a lot of financial stress. I have tried to lessen that stress this year by making decorations with items I already have. This craft was virtually free because I just used old scrap paper and gift bags I had received from previous showers/gifts. I don't have a cricut or any fancy paper cutter so I used my computer to make a stensil for the letters. I used a few ornaments to accessorize the bags, put some tissue paper in and I was done. It can't get much cheaper or easier than that.

Dollar Wreaths

Its been almost a year later since my last post and I can't believe how fast the time has flown. As interesting as the details may be, I'm sure you're not biting at your nails to hear why it has been so long. So...I will just talk a bit about my latest project.

I found these wreaths at a local store for one dollar and couldn't pass up the opportunity to do something creative. The wreaths were a bit plain and lets be honest...cheap, so I dressed them up with some glittery garland and ornaments.

I know its not even Thanksgiving yet but, is it too early to keep it up? I will be struggling with that for the next few days until Black Friday when I bust out all the Christmas decor. Let the Holidays begin.
